Great vegan options and super friendly staff!!! Molly and her staff at Hugos are absolutely delightful. I always have great, quick service there, even through the pandemic. Yesterday I tried the vegan Mac n cheese and it was delicious! Crispy onions with mushrooms and peas on top gave it so much flavor and texture. The latte was so big I had to take it home to finish it. I love the taco stand too but this is a great place for a relaxing lunch with great vibes.
Hugo's is our family's ultimate go-to place when we need a place that satisfies everyone of every age and taste. Great salads, burgers, sandwiches, breakfasts, sides. Everything leans towards healthy-ish, so that's a plus. The wait staff has always been consistently professional.

Fantastic California-style neighborhood restaurant! Anything with their poached eggs is delicious. Amazing Classic place to eat. The food make you happy even on your worst day.
Great place for every time of the day. Their food is very delicious. Most of them are already healthy options. They have breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner. Patio outside is heated and pet friendly. It’s pretty sunny outside but great for a cold day. They welcomed dogs really well. The table near me had their furry friend fed too. Parking was a bit limited but I went around 11am and found it’s pretty easy to find. When I leave, cara had to wait around 5-10 minutes for the space. Right off 101 freeway then turn right and sharp left.
Enjoyed a good meal at Hugo's. Service was very nice, great food. I found the carrots in the brisket stew a little too soft and overly salty but otherwise everything was great. It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away on Easter Sunday late lunch.
They always finish our large order on time. They are very friendly and helpful. The wraps are delicious! Totally recommend the wrap trays for large parties!
I went to Hugo’s and had one of the BEST dining experiences ever. The food was great, but the service? Next level. Huge shout-out to Eric — he wasn’t even our server, yet my Coke Zero never hit empty once. He kept it full the entire time, lemon perfectly placed, like he had a sixth sense for when I needed a refill. That kind of attention is rare, and honestly, it made my whole meal. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and on top of things, but Eric went above and beyond in a way I’ll seriously never forget. Hugo’s, you’ve got a gem on your team. I’ll be back — and I’ll be looking for Eric!
The atmosphere felt welcoming and the staff took great care of us throughout the meal. The food was flavorful and well prepared, especially the brisket stew. While the carrots were a bit softer and saltier than my preference, it did not take away from the overall enjoyment. Everything else was spot on and I left feeling satisfied and happy.
We recently discovered a new spot and had breakfast at Hugo’s Studio City, and it was such a pleasant experience. We found this place through a Google search while specifically looking for a restaurant with a large gluten-free menu — and Hugo’s truly delivered. Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free, from classic French toast to hearty burritos, which is incredibly rare and impressive. There’s a great balance between healthy options and more indulgent, gourmet-style dishes. Even the desserts are gluten-free, which was a big plus. The service was excellent from start to finish. From the hostess to our server, everyone was friendly, warm, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We chose to sit on the patio since the weather was sunny, and it was the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the moment. Inside, there’s plenty of seating, though the interior feels a bit dark for my taste. The old-fashioned décor gives the place a nostalgic, almost time-travel feel. Prices are reasonable, and portions are medium-sized. Overall, I highly recommend this spot — and we’ll definitely be back.
